About The Position

HSHS/Prevea is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient pediatrics team. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven therapists looking for an opportunity to improve patients’ independence, participation, and overall functional performance through therapeutic interventions. Qualified candidates will possess experience in pediatric therapy and demonstrate the ability to provide care across a broad spectrum of clinical areas, including but not limited to developmental, neurological, orthopedic, sensory-processing, and fine motor conditions. The role requires clinical proficiency and adaptability in treating pediatric patients across all age groups, from infancy through adolescence, with a wide range of diagnoses and functional abilities. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, coordinated, and high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.
  • IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
