About The Position

Great Strides Rehabilitation, an H2 Health company, is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing pediatric team in Jacksonville, Florida. Whether you're an experienced pediatric occupational therapist or a new graduate eager to begin your career, we'd love to hear from you. You will have the opportunity to work at a Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care Center (PPEC) where you'll work alongside a collaborative team of physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, music therapists, and nursing professionals to provide individualized, evidence-based care for children with medically complex conditions. Our interdisciplinary approach allows therapists to make a meaningful impact while helping children maximize independence, participation, and quality of life in a supportive, family-centered environment.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Florida Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for providing exceptional pediatric patient care.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medically complex diagnoses.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence in daily activities, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional development.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families.
  • Educate families and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using AI-powered documentation technology designed to reduce administrative burden.
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while helping children achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
