About The Position

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for a full-time pediatric position for the fall semester. This role offers the chance to make a difference in a pediatric setting, helping children thrive with meaningful, impactful work and a healthy work-life balance. The position features a predictable weekday schedule aligned with school hours, summers off, and built-in holidays. You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with students, teachers, and school teams, with collaborative, interdisciplinary support through IEP teams and district resources. PDS also offers professional development and career growth opportunities, including mentorship, leadership roles, and specialization in areas like bilingual services, AAC, or early childhood. Built-in support is available for both new and experienced clinicians, including mentorship, ongoing CEUs, and experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L)
• Active state license or eligibility for licensure (PDS will assist!)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized OT services based on therapy plans and developmental needs
• Conduct evaluations, create therapy goals, monitor progress, and document outcomes
• Collaborate with families, care teams, and educators to support functional, motor, sensory, and self-care goals
• Create a positive, engaging therapy experience for each child
