About The Position

Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) who specializes in working with the pediatric population to join their clinic in NE Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time or part-time position. The clinic is a nonprofit pediatric clinic that has been supporting Oregon families for over 35 years, believing in relationships first, play-based therapy, and meeting families where they are. They offer mentorship, flexibility, and a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited college or university.
• State of Oregon Occupational Therapy License.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to utilize a play-based approach.
• A love for kids, playful energy, and team spirit.
• Willingness to work in shared therapy spaces.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn clinic equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High levels of professional accountability and ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in pediatrics preferred.
• Strong desire to learn and work in a pediatric outpatient clinic are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals 0-21 years to determine the need for therapy services.
• Develop/Implement treatment plans and administer individualized therapy services.
• Complete all client treatment notes and reports in a timely manner, meeting all insurance, supervision, and licensure requirements.
• Provide consistent home activities and caregiver education to support therapy goals.
• Collaborate with members of the client's care team.
• Provide guidance and support resources to clients and their families.
• Provide 1:1 Occupational therapy for kids and teens (ages 0-21).
• Develop individualized, play-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with caregivers and multidisciplinary team members.
• Share strategies and tools to support families at home.
• Keep documentation up to date.
