Occupational therapists on our team work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other rehabilitation professionals to support children with complex medical conditions in both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings, helping patients maximize function, independence, and quality of life throughout their recovery journey. Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers programs of Occupational Therapy (OT) upon referral by the physician. Plans and conducts OT programs to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum level of independence. Performs supervisory duties.
