About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Pediatric Nutrition Technician to join our Nutrition team at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity. As a Pediatric Nutrition Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation of feedings using aseptic technique, verifying orders, fortification, mixing, labelling, storage, and delivery of breast milk and formula for a 24 hour period. You will also be responsible for cataloguing mothers' milk and donor milk, ordering donor milk, and maintaining, cleaning, and sanitizing preparation areas and other necessary supplies. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- This position is designated as requiring a level II Background. A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of feedings using aseptic technique.
- Verifying orders, fortification, mixing, labelling, storage, and delivery of breast milk and formula for a 24 hour period.
- Cataloguing mothers' milk and donor milk.
- Ordering donor milk.
- Maintain, clean, and sanitize preparation areas and other necessary supplies.
