About The Position

The Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team. This role primarily involves supporting our outpatient pediatric gastroenterology services, with a focus on the care of children with gastrointestinal disorders. The PNP will provide specialized care for pediatric GI patients, with an emphasis on chronic disease management, care coordination, education, and longitudinal follow-up. There is a potential opportunity to support select gastrointestinal disorders. The role includes participating in shared after-hours call responsibilities, addressing patient and parent concerns related to GI conditions. Responsibilities also include performing comprehensive pediatric assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, developing management plans, and prescribing appropriate therapies for patients under the age of 21.

Requirements

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification.
Experience in pediatrics, preferably in a specialty setting.
Pediatric NP certification and experience are required.

Responsibilities
