About The Position
Penobscot Pediatrics is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Associate to join their team in Bangor, Maine. This role is part of an integrated care model supporting children and families. The position emphasizes team-based, whole-person care and aims to expand access to vital pediatric services. The role offers a 4-day work week, dedicated administrative time, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate.
- Passion for patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to support the full spectrum of patient needs.
- Collaborate with Primary Care Pharmacists, Registered Nurses, Behavioral Health Therapists, Pediatricians, and other specialty providers.
- Focus on delivering high-quality care.
- Participate in preventive and routine pediatric care.
- Conduct developmental screenings and well-child visits.
- Administer immunizations and perform physicals.
- Provide integrated behavioral health and family services.
- Ensure patients have access to speech and audiology services.
