Requirements

Active LPN licensure or medical assistant school diploma/certification.
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
BLS CPR Certification

Responsibilities

Provides clinical support to providers by preparing patients for medical examinations and documenting key information into EHR system.
Assist providers during examination and procedures.
Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and assisting with treatments under provider supervision.
Execute essential skills, including blood pressure readings, EKGs, lab test, vision test and specimen collection.
Ensure timely patient care by rooming patients promptly and monitoring wait times.
Prepare and clean exam rooms.
Maintain and sterilize equipment, monitor tracking systems and adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.
Schedule referrals, manage phone messages, and coordinate prescription calls under provider guidance.
Other duties as assigned, up to and including travel to other locations, and working with adult population that may be required.
