About The Position

KidsCare Home Health is expanding its Private Duty Nursing services in the Morgan TX area and is looking for dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join their growing team. As a KidsCare nurse, you will work alongside a collaborative team of therapists and medical professionals to provide exceptional care to the children and families served. The company focuses on creating a supportive, flexible, and rewarding environment for its nurses.

Requirements

• Current State Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Reliable transportation to office and patients’ homes.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) Year Home Health Experience Preferred
• One (1) Year Pediatric Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in their home according to the active plan of care.
• Provide services in accordance with physician's orders and state, federal, and national accreditation commission regulations.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Document timely, clear, concise, and accurate clinical notes.
• Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient’s condition.
• Provide and document education to patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
