Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
Our BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office is interested in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has a passion for pediatric care to join our Skilled Nursing Team. BAYADA prides itself on providing an excellent onboarding and training experience from Day 1. On your paid first day, you can expect to meet the team and discuss your availability and possible schedules. You will meet with our clinical educator and schedule any training you may need or want. Lunch and BAYADA swag will be provided. During your paid Orientation, you will work on training with our clinical educator in the SIM lab. Documentation training, fit testing and ID badge will also be completed. All training is paid, and refreshments are provided. On your first day in the client home, you will be orientating with another BAYADA nurse to ensure comfort and a good fit. Throughout the year, our office hosts several nurse appreciation events. Requirements
- Graduations for an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
- Follow up with, execute, and properly documents doctors’ orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions
- Document observations, interventions and evaluations
- Feel empowered to perform skills with autonomy in the home
