Austin Radiological Association is seeking a skilled, motivated pediatric interventional radiologist for a partnership-track position expanding its pediatric and interventional radiology section in Central Texas. The primary pediatric practice site is Dell Children’s Medical Center, a 248-bed freestanding tertiary referral facility serving a 45-plus-county area. The center includes the region’s only Level I pediatric trauma center and a Level IV NICU, with recent expansions in cardiovascular and pediatric ICU services and a comprehensive fetal care center. Solid organ transplant programs are under development. The practice also provides pediatric radiology services at other contract sites in the greater Austin and Central Texas area, and has a multidisciplinary vascular anomalies clinic that meets twice monthly. The section provides a broad spectrum of pediatric interventional care, including vascular access, biopsies, drain and tube placement, genitourinary and hepatobiliary procedures, arterial and venous interventions, and management of vascular malformations. The successful candidate should also be comfortable with general diagnostic radiology, adult or pediatric depending on training background. The practice has 24/7 support staff, robust IT infrastructure, and a collegial environment. The team includes a pediatric interventional radiology advanced practice provider, with an additional hire pending to support section needs. Pediatric diagnostic and neuro-interventional subspecialty support is available. The position offers a two-year partnership track, with part-time and employed options also available. Partners receive equal base pay within the same full-time-equivalent level, and full-time partners receive 13 weeks of paid time off annually. The role includes approximately one call shift every five to six days, shared equally by the section, and an hourly callback stipend for after-hours procedures. Flexible internal moonlighting is available through shift-based or per-study payment options. Leadership, teaching, and research opportunities are available, including serving as primary teaching faculty for the UT Dell Medical School radiology residency program. The practice also offers leadership roles within the practice and at contract sites. Austin Radiological Association is a nationally recognized practice with more than 70 years of service and over 110 radiologists across subspecialties. It serves 24 hospitals and operates 17 outpatient imaging centers in Central Texas, and partners with Dell Medical School at the University of Texas. ARA physicians serve as radiology faculty, and the practice operates an ACGME residency program with opportunities to teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
