About The Position
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and very experienced Pediatric Intensivist Team. Practice setting: Inpatient. Level III NICU/PICU. 6 PICU beds, 16 Pediatric beds, 30 Pediatric Nursery beds. 24/7 Neonatology Service. NICU 30 beds with 12 swing beds. Pediatric Hospitalist support. Pediatric ER. Access to several Pediatric sub-specialists.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care
- Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Responsibilities
- 24 hour shifts, 8 hours of it in-house
- 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service
