About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and very experienced Pediatric Intensivist Team. This role involves 24-hour shifts with 8 hours in-house, providing 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service in an inpatient setting. The facility is a 131-bed hospital with all private rooms, a Level III NICU/PICU, 3,000 plus births, and an integrated referral network. Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care.
Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration.
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service.
Work 24-hour shifts, with 8 hours in-house.
Practice in an inpatient setting within a Level III NICU/PICU.
Collaborate with Pediatric Hospitalist support, Pediatric ER, and access to several Pediatric sub-specialists.
