About The Position

The Pediatrix Critical Care team at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist with significant training and/or experience in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive care to help expand our Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care program. This is a unique opportunity to shape a rapidly growing service line in the newly launched Mary Bridge Heart Center and brand-new children's hospital that opened in May 2026. The role offers a state-of-the-art workplace in a new hospital with an expanded 22-bed PICU/CICU, full pediatric subspecialty support, and advanced ICU modalities. This is an exciting new opportunity with the ability to lead and be on the ground floor of developing this newly revamped program, partnering with exceptional cardiac surgery, cardiology, and ICU teams to build a thriving pediatric cardiac service. The position emphasizes work-life balance with approximately 12 clinical shifts per month in a supported environment with collaborative teams and robust staffing models.

Requirements

Must have experience caring for pediatric patients within CICU or have had experience with those in need of intensive cardiac care.
Must be board certified/board-eligible and fellowship trained in Pediatric Critical Care.
