About The Position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. This per diem position involves rounding with out-of-house call from home, with the potential for up to 15 shifts per month. The coverage includes a 6-bed inpatient pediatric floor, ED consults, and newborn couplet care with NNP support. There is no nursery call or rounds, and NICU coverage is separate. The facility offers on-site subspecialty support including Pediatric Pulmonology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology, as well as Pediatric Ortho and Surgery (adult). Consults are also available from UAB subspecialists.

Requirements

• BC Pediatrics
• AL license required or IMLC
• Minimum 1 Year experience

Responsibilities

• Rounding with out of house call from home
