About The Position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our collaborative and mission-driven team at Winchester Medical Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, family-centered care in a well-supported community hospital setting, while also engaging in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration. The position involves caring for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery, supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries. The Pediatric Floor ADC is 5, and the Newborn Nursery ADC is 15. Daytime support is provided by Advanced Practice Providers, and block scheduling is utilized for optimal work-life balance. The role includes daytime rounding and out-of-house call with a 30-minute response time. Collaboration with a network of pediatric subspecialists available onsite and via telehealth through University of Virginia, INOVA, and Children’s National is a key aspect. There is an opportunity to teach and mentor Family Medicine Residents. The position works alongside a team where Pediatrix also provides NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care.
