About The Position

Golden Care of Northeast PA, Inc. is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our compassionate team. Under the general supervision of clinical management, the HHA or CNA will provide general aide care to assigned patients, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. This role may include on-call duties for after-hours work.

Requirements

• Active HHA certification in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state.
• General care skills, observation skills, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of home health care and government regulations.
• Good physical and mental health.
• Caring attitude, empathy, tact, and patience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of patient care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalized aide care tasks to assigned patients.
• Report patients’ physical and emotional status, competency, home environment, safety factors, and available family support to team members.
• Offer information on patient rights, reimbursement procedures, and patient/family rights.
• Observe patients for changes in condition and communicate/coordinate care with attending physician and clinical management.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and support their efforts toward self-sufficiency and independence.
• Maintain accurate patient clinical records and reports.
• Participate in on-call rotation as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
