About The Position

This position involves providing overnight supervision, transfer, bathing, incontinence care, dressing, meal preparation, and feeding for an 18-year-old female client in the Spartanburg area, 4 days a week from 8:30 PM to 9:30 AM. Axcess is a home care provider that services children with special needs and disabilities across South Carolina, contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. The goal is to provide compassionate nursing care to children while giving parents peace of mind. Services may include medication administration, catheter care, tracheostomy care, wound care, ventilator care, assistance with ADLs, and accompanying parents to appointments and therapies. Light housekeeping and laundry may also be required.

Requirements

• Active LPN license to practice in SC
• One year of clinical experience
• Annual TB tests (if expired, Axcess covers the cost)
• Current CPR certification (if expired, Axcess can direct to training sites)
• Pass a background (SLED) check
• Pass a drug test
• Physically able to provide care to a child with special needs
• Valid driver's license and insured transportation
