This Pediatric Psychologist position provides clinical care for children, adolescents, and families coping with acute and chronic medical conditions, with a primary focus on integrated support within specialty medical clinics and brief outpatient therapy. The psychologist will partner with a multidisciplinary team (subspecialty medical providers, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, etc.) to provide assessment, consultation, health behavior intervention, patient and family education, and care coordination for medically complex pediatric populations. Current clinic needs may include support for programs such as Cystic Fibrosis, severe persistent asthma, cochlear implant evaluations, and POST clinic, along with brief therapy for patients stepping down from hospitalization or needing targeted support related to medical diagnosis, treatment adjustment, adherence, coping, or family functioning. This role requires a broadly trained pediatric psychologist who is comfortable working across medical specialties; as the program grows, there may be increasing opportunities for subspecialty development.
