Pediatric Echo Sonographer
About The Position
Inova is hiring Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonographers at all levels, with PRN, part-time, and full-time positions available across multiple sites. Full-time positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The role involves cardiac or vascular sonography in a hospital or healthcare environment. Requirements vary by level: Cardiac Sonographer 1 requires recent experience as a sonographer or sonographer student; Cardiac Sonographer 2 requires one year of experience after acquiring registry; and Cardiac Sonographer 3 requires three or more years of experience. Pediatric cardiology experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Cardiac Sonographer 1: Basic Life Support certification upon starting; ARDMS registration with RDCS certification or CCI registration with vascular certification, or registry eligibility with certification obtained within one year; RCS certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS within one year of hire.
- Cardiac Sonographer 1: Recent experience in a hospital or healthcare environment as a sonographer or sonographer student.
- Cardiac Sonographer 1: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or five years of specialized training in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Cardiac Sonographer 2: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or five years of specialized training in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Cardiac Sonographer 2: ARDMS registration with RDCS certification or CCI registration with RCS certification for Echo; or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS certification for Vascular.
- Cardiac Sonographer 2: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Cardiac Sonographer 2: One year of experience after acquiring registry in a hospital or healthcare environment performing cardiac or vascular sonography.
- Cardiac Sonographer 3: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or five years of specialized training in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Cardiac Sonographer 3: ARDMS registration with RDCS certification or CCI registration with RCS certification for Echo; or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS certification for Vascular.
- Cardiac Sonographer 3: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Cardiac Sonographer 3: Three or more years of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment performing cardiac or vascular sonography.
