Requirements

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program
Valid NC dental license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families
Team-oriented, compassionate, and patient-centered

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments
Conduct dental exams, diagnose oral conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and families on oral health and hygiene
Manage patient behavior and anxiety to ensure a positive experience
Collaborate with assistants, hygienists, and office staff
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all safety and regulatory standards
