The Pediatric Dentist is responsible for the direct provision of high-quality, patient-centered dental care with an emphasis on pediatric populations, prevention, and early intervention. This role supports an integrated care model with pediatric medical services and is critical in expanding access for underserved and Medicaid populations. The Pediatric Dentist contributes to improved health outcomes through evidence-based clinical practices, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Pediatric Dentist supports the Chief Clinical Officer and Dental Operations Manager by providing quality dental care to all Hunter Health Clinic (HHC) patients while maintaining compliance with all federal and state requirements, grants, HRSA, IHS, CDC, HIPAA, Dental Board, and HHC policies and procedures.
