About The Position

PDS Management Services is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist for its Wyckoff, New Jersey practice. The role is scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with expected hours of 16 per week. The position offers pay of up to $1,300 per day, based on patient volume and work experience, and may include sign-on and referral bonuses. The dentist will provide pediatric dental care in a child-friendly, professional environment, working with experienced assistants and hygienists and collaborating with a dedicated dental team. Training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth are available.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey dental pediatric license.
• Active New Jersey Medicaid license.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry and dental terminology.
• Experience with Dentrix software and medical records management.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry.
• Excellent patient care and assessment skills.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and provide quality care to pediatric patients.
• Educate children and parents about oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Perform procedures including fillings, extractions, and crowns.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide care.
• Manage appointments and treatment plans efficiently.
• Provide a variety of procedures, potentially including orthodontics, laser surgery, conscious sedation, and outpatient care.
