Requirements

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform prophylaxis as well as taking digital radiographs
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
Is committed to continuing growth in a long term career

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred
graduating from dental assisting program is preferred

Responsibilities

Greet young patients with a warm smile, helping them feel comfortable and excited about their dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun.
Prepare treatment rooms.
Sterilize instruments.
Take dental x-rays.
Explain treatment plans to parents.
Help kids understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions.
