As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive and comfortable experience for our young patients and their families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (dental assisting program preferred)
- Coronal Polishing Certification + DANB X-ray Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Compassion, patience, and a passion for helping kids feel comfortable
- Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric dental experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Creating a warm, friendly, and calming environment for children
- Educating patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
- Assisting dentists during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Preparing instruments and maintaining a clean, sterile environment
- Taking digital dental x-rays and performing coronal polishing
- Collaborating with the team to support effective patient care and treatment plans
