Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (dental assisting program preferred)
  • Coronal Polishing Certification + DANB X-ray Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
  • Strong communication skills with both children and parents
  • Compassion, patience, and a passion for helping kids feel comfortable
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric dental experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Creating a warm, friendly, and calming environment for children
  • Educating patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
  • Assisting dentists during exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Preparing instruments and maintaining a clean, sterile environment
  • Taking digital dental x-rays and performing coronal polishing
  • Collaborating with the team to support effective patient care and treatment plans
