About The Position

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. The practice is passionate about creating positive dental experiences that help children develop healthy habits and confident smiles that last a lifetime. They offer support and training for those transitioning into pediatrics. The role involves assisting the doctor during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, educating patients and parents, and collaborating with the clinical team.

Requirements

Current RDA and X-ray certification (or required state credentials).
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
Passion for working with children and families.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Dental assisting experience preferred.
Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for every child and family.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
Take digital x-rays and assist with charting and patient records.
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care.
Work collaboratively with our clinical team to provide exceptional care.
