About The Position
Absolute Dental is seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their team. This position offers a consistent schedule every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role involves supporting the doctor during pediatric procedures while helping children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, but some dental experience is required.
Requirements
- Comfortable and passionate about working with children
- Some dental experience required
- Available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Positive, patient, and friendly attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling between offices as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assisting the doctor during pediatric dental procedures
- Helping children feel calm, comfortable, and supported
- Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards
- Supporting charting and documentation as needed
- Working closely with the dental team to keep the day running smoothly
- Creating a welcoming, kid-friendly experience for patients and families
