About The Position

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join its healthcare team at the Badura Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. The caregiver may be hired at Level I, II, or III depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates with at least two years of scanning experience in pediatric congenital heart disease and a passed pediatric echo registry exam are sought. Candidates who do not meet that qualification may be considered for a Level I or Registry Eligible job code, with pay determined by qualifications and experience. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week. The hourly pay range is $39.16–$60.42, with the actual rate dependent on experience. Eligible applicants may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500, and relocation assistance is available. Requirements

Registry Eligible: Eligible to take the ARDMS or CCI boards in cardiac or vascular sonography within one year of hire.
Registry Eligible: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Registry Eligible: Participating in and/or graduate of an accredited or certificate program.
Level I: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
Level I: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Level II: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
Level II: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Level II: Obtain any two applicable national registry credentials through ARDMS, CCI, or ASN: Vascular Technology, Adult Echo, Adult Congenital Echo, or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer.
Level II: Obtain at least one registry with either 10 or more years of cardiology/healthcare service, or 5 or more years of cardiology/healthcare service plus an associate degree.
Level II: Participate in at least one competency area: Echo, Adult Congenital, Fetal, Pediatric, Vascular, or Arterial Scans.
Level III: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
Level III: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Level III: Obtain any three applicable national registry credentials through ARDMS, CCI, or ASN, or meet the stated years-of-service qualification.
Level III: Obtain at least one registry with either 15 or more years of cardiology/healthcare service, or 10 or more years of cardiology/healthcare service plus a bachelor's or master's degree.

Nice To Haves

Completed pediatric registry.
Two years of experience in Pediatric Cardiology.
