Requirements
- License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
- Completion of a medical genetics fellowship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat genetic disorders in pediatric patients.
- Interpret genetic testing results and design personalized treatment plans.
- Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral.
- Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patients family concerning treatment and care of patients.
