Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and helping them achieve developmental milestones.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans.
Implement individualized therapy programs to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, strength, range of motion, mobility, self-care, and functional independence.
Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support continued progress.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Build positive relationships with children and families while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Maintain compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
