About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. caring for a medically fragile child in a home setting provides essential clinical and personal support under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The role focuses on maintaining the child’s safety, comfort, and health stability while adhering to a specialized care plan.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- First aid and CPR-certified(BLS certification)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
- Ability to lift heaving objects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care for personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding; monitor and document fluid intake and dietary requirements.
- Oversee the cleanliness and proper functioning of specialized home equipment, such as oxygen tanks, ventilators, or feeding pumps.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, medications, and any incidents according to agency and state policies.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate play and offer reassurance to both the patient and family members during stressful periods.
