Weekend Pediatric Caregiver
About The Position
This is an immediate caregiver opportunity for individuals dedicated to making a difference through compassionate care. The role serves Springfield, MO, and surrounding areas, offering part-time weekend hours. The caregiver will provide essential support to special needs children through the Healthy Children and Youth program. At Phoenix Home Care, caregivers have the advantage of working with a select group of clients, allowing control over their schedule and travel time. This position offers the chance to make one-on-one connections with clients and provide exceptional care.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming)
- Provide Companionship and Emotional Support
- Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including: Transfers (use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, etc.)
- Feeding Assistance & Meal Preparation
- Monitoring and Reporting Changes in Condition
- Light Housekeeping
- Medication Reminders
- Running errands
