About The Position
Phoenix Home Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team serving Springfield, MO, and surrounding areas. This part-time opportunity focuses on providing essential support to special needs children through our Healthy Children and Youth program. As a Caregiver, you will have the advantage of working with a select group of clients, allowing you control over your schedule and travel time. Our caregivers are the heart of Phoenix, and this role offers the chance to build one-on-one connections and provide exceptional care.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming)
- Provide Companionship and Emotional Support
- Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including: Transfers (use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, etc.)
- Feeding Assistance & Meal Preparation
- Monitoring and Reporting Changes in Condition
- Light Housekeeping
- Medication Reminders
- Running errands
