About The Position
Phoenix is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for clients, with a focus on pediatric care. Caregivers will have the opportunity to build strong, one-on-one relationships with clients and will be part of a supportive team. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and managing clients with higher acuity needs.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Up to date Driver's License and auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Nice To Haves
- Experience with autistic children preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming)
- Provide Companionship and Emotional Support
- Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including: Transfers (use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, etc..)
- Feeding Assistance & Meal Preparation
- Monitoring and Reporting Changes in Condition
- Light Housekeeping
- Medication Reminders
