Pediatric Cardiologist
About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing comprehensive cardiology care for pediatric and adult congenital patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The position requires on-call duties, including nights and weekends, with a 1:5 call ratio and a 20-minute response time. The coverage period is from October 19, 2026, ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Consideration can be given to a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule. The average daily patient volume is 0-3 patients per day in clinic, with 0-3 admissions. The role also includes rounding and 1-5 phone consults per week. The facility utilizes the Cerner EMR system and is supported by a team of 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 APPs, and 22 Office Staff.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Valid PA license or IMLC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Required Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology
- Ability to interpret X-rays
- Ability to interpret EKGs
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiology care for pediatric and adult congenital patients

- Collaborate with support staff and specialists to ensure continuity of care
