About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer for a contract/travel position in Atlanta, GA. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, proficiency in echocardiography techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a commitment to patient care and adherence to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active license in GA
• 2+ years of experience in Cardiac Sonography
• Documented travel experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS certification
• Willingness to float
• Must have the flu vaccination

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric patients with cardiac conditions.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire diagnostic images of the heart.
• Analyze and interpret sonographic images to identify cardiac abnormalities.
• Document findings and prepare preliminary reports for review by physicians.
• Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Willingness to float to other areas as needed.
