The Stanford Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Interventionalist to join the Division of Cardiology at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. This position is based at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford (LPCHS). The successful candidate will be appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator line, with academic rank determined by qualifications and experience. The role involves serving as one of four attending cardiac interventionalists, participating in house staff and fellow education, and engaging in clinical, translational, or quality/performance improvement research. The Children’s Heart Center at LPCHS is a top-ranked pediatric cardiac program with extensive research collaboration opportunities. The facility includes three pediatric catheterization laboratories, two of which are dedicated to interventional cardiology with state-of-the-art equipment and hybrid capabilities. The program collaborates with adult cardiology, interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional teams, treating patients from premature neonates to adults with complex and acute conditions. The CVICU is a 36-bed dedicated unit providing comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care, including mechanical circulatory support and a cardiac transplantation program.
