About The Position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Intensivist to join a team of eight intensivists at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington. The role serves patients across Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. Candidates should have additional cardiac ICU fellowship training or substantial pediatric cardiac ICU experience; new graduates in cardiac-focused training programs are welcome to apply. The practice includes a 20-bed mixed cardiac and general PICU with an average daily census of 10–12, an active pediatric cardiac surgery program performing more than 100 pumps annually, and an ECLS program with ELSO Gold award status. The hospital is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with full pediatric subspecialist and surgical support, an active outpatient sedation service, and teaching opportunities with pediatric residents and medical students. The team offers a collaborative, supportive environment with strong mentorship and clinical support. The base pay range is $260,000–$395,000, depending on years of experience and fellowship training. Spokane offers a metropolitan setting, four seasons, highly rated schools, a comparatively lower cost of living than many West Coast cities, and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Critical Care.
Additional cardiac ICU fellowship training or substantial pediatric cardiac ICU experience.
