This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including physical, occupational, speech-language, and music therapists, as well as early childhood special educators and BCBA. The Pediatric Behavior Tech II will work with the leadership team and social worker to address individual child and family needs and connect them with community resources. Responsibilities include training and educating students, interns, volunteers, and patient family members, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, organizing daily data and individual children’s programs, and ensuring organization within the classroom and other areas. The role also emphasizes building professional relationships through consideration of workloads and assistance with duties, honest communication, and respecting the expertise of other disciplines. Direct therapy is provided under BCBA supervision to help children develop cognitive, language, self-help, social, and motor skills. Punctuality for calls, emails, work hours, meetings, and patient treatments is expected, as is the confidential and appropriate use of computer access and social media, adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
