The Audiologist provides complete diagnostic audiologic evaluations and implements appropriate treatment plans. Requirements

  • Minimum one year of clinical experience.
  • Doctorate degree in Audiology or Prior to January 1, 2008, hold a master’s degree or equivalent in audiology from an accredited educational institution.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others from all cultural linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds in an empathic and confidential manner.
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Collaborate and accept direction.
  • Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
  • Think critically.
  • Manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Organize and prioritize workload.
  • Work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Problem solve.
  • Recall information with accuracy.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • California Audiology license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate degree in Audiology.
  • Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.
  • California Dispensing Audiology license.
