Pediatric Audiologist
About The Position
The Audiologist provides complete diagnostic audiologic evaluations and implements appropriate treatment plans. Requirements
- Minimum one year of clinical experience.
- Doctorate degree in Audiology or Prior to January 1, 2008, hold a master’s degree or equivalent in audiology from an accredited educational institution.
- Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others from all cultural linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds in an empathic and confidential manner.
- Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
- Collaborate and accept direction.
- Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
- Think critically.
- Manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Organize and prioritize workload.
- Work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Problem solve.
- Recall information with accuracy.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- California Audiology license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate degree in Audiology.
- Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.
- California Dispensing Audiology license.
