About The Position

The Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI) is seeking an individual to serve as a Pedagogical Wellbeing Specialist. This person would work with a wide range of education professionals to support the integration of best practices which lead to excellent pedagogy and overall wellness through reduction of stress, burnout and the promotion of wellbeing and resilience for educators. The position is a .5 FTE, fixed-term annual year position, subject to renewal contingent upon funding.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Clinical Mental Health or related field.
  • Three or more years of teaching, curriculum development or related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty advisors and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Educational Policy, or other education-related degree.
  • One or more years of experience in counseling or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of broad spectrum of student health and wellness.
  • Ability to facilitate educational development sessions.
  • Demonstrates dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion and commitment to continuously develop in this respect.
