About The Position

As an NBCUniversal Academic Year intern, you will engage in real projects, contribute to a collaborative culture, and receive support for your growth over two full semesters. Potential placement areas include, but are not limited to, the DTC Product, Editorial Operations team, which is responsible for the editorial curation and programming of nbc.com and the NBC app, as well as the Bravo & Telemundo apps. Interns will gain experience in workflows for publishing and curating editorial content across various brand apps, and in measuring content performance.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027)
  • December 2026 graduates are not eligible for this Academic Year Internship Program
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027
  • Must be working from a location within a U.S. state during all hours worked
  • Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Knowledge of digital/streaming trends and technologies
  • Familiarity with content management systems & image editing tools—Photoshop, Canva, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Enterprise software—Office 360: Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in the workflows for publishing and curating editorial content across various brand apps
  • Gain experience in measuring content performance
