Requirements

  • 3+ years of Physical Education teaching experience in a high-performing K-12 setting with a proven track record of success
  • Volleyball coaching experience in a competitive, college-preparatory environment
  • Bachelor’s degree with an outstanding record of achievement and leadership

Nice To Haves

  • graduate degree in a related field preferred
  • NYS Teacher Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Apply a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, and values to build a culture of purpose and impact
  • Lead soccer instruction for a set of grades; support club and other development opportunities that build skills and prepare students for competitive play
  • Drive outcomes for all students by regularly analyzing data, assessing student performance, and implementing high leverage instructional strategies
  • Engage students in fitness and movement activities that inspire an appreciation for athletics and a personal commitment to health, fitness, and physical performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a learning environment that makes learning visible through ongoing family communication and activities
  • Train with colleagues and school leaders, which includes regularly implementing feedback with grace and urgency in service of student achievement, a values-based school culture, and a positive, professional work environment
  • Demonstrating a mission-first mindset to ensure all decisions and actions are rooted in ensuring that all students excel
