PE Teacher/Athletic Director - Sacred Heart Catholic School
About The Position
Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking a qualified PE Teacher/Athletic Director to start immediately. Candidates for this full-time position should be passionate about and support the mission of Catholic Education. Our ideal candidate should have experience in teaching physical education, creating intellectually engaging unit plans, using effective classroom management strategies, and providing cooperative learning opportunities that connect to the real-world and across subject areas. As Athletic Director, candidate will be responsible for working with the LPCC and coordinating with other Athletic Directors to schedule games. Athletic Director will be responsible for all communication regarding athletics, records keeping, management of coaches and equipment, and must be onsite for all home games and attend away games as deemed necessary.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Physical Education or have the necessary education and experience to acquire certification upon employment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Pass a Level 2 background screening
