About The Position

Maintains electrical equipment, devices, and systems across Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare facilities in safe and proper working order. Installs new systems and devices in accordance with applicable codes and standards, and performs preventive maintenance as well as unscheduled work orders. Reports to the Executive Director of Facilities and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five to eight years of job-related experience.
• Journeyman Competency Certificate issued by the City of Tallahassee. HR may accept a vocational certificate or associate degree in electrical technology or electronic technology, or four years of relevant electrical technology experience, in lieu of the required certificate. Experience accepted in lieu of the certificate does not count toward the minimum experience requirement.

• Maintain electrical systems across all TMH facilities in proper and safe working order.
