About The Position

Got Game Sports, a leading provider of youth education, PE, and camps since 2004, is seeking energetic and passionate PE Coaches and After School Sports Enrichment Instructors. This role involves leading students at schools across Woodland Hills and the surrounding San Fernando Valley areas. The ideal candidate will have a knack for connecting with kids and a desire to make a difference in a fun and dynamic team environment.

Requirements

  • Love working with kids and connect with them naturally.
  • Strong, clear communicator with a big voice, comfortable leading large groups.
  • Experience leading groups of children in a sports or active setting.
  • Takes initiative, digs in to find answers, and asks questions.
  • Adaptable, dependable, and a team player.
  • Naturally active, loves being outdoors, and brings high energy.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to commute to assigned sites across Los Angeles and the SF Valley.
  • Ability to pass a background check and complete required school-site clearances.
  • Ability to demonstrate, instruct, and participate in physical activities, including but not limited to running, jumping, stretching, and lifting.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (e.g., sports gear, mats, cones).
  • Sufficient stamina to actively and consistently engage with students throughout a full school day in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to review curriculum, plan age-appropriate activities, and execute lesson plans both independently and in collaboration with our management team.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather when teaching outdoor activities.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to project voice clearly in large, open spaces.
  • Must possess the visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in physical education, coaching, or childcare.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging, active PE classes for various ages and skill levels, focusing on movement, competition, and health.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all students.
  • Lead recess and lunch-time games to foster fun experiences.
  • Model and uphold safety standards.
  • Communicate clearly, proactively, and regularly with the management team.
  • Demonstrate, instruct, and participate in physical activities like running, jumping, stretching, and lifting.
  • Plan age-appropriate activities and execute lesson plans independently and collaboratively.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
  • Respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in emergencies.
