PDX Delivery Drivers | Hourly - Tonkin Parts Center
About The Position
Tonkin Parts Center is the Largest Automotive Original Equipment Parts Warehouse in the U.S., located in Portland just 5 minutes across the river from Vancouver, WA! About our Delivery Team Our Delivery team members work hard to help us support our nearly 4,000 customers across the Pacific Northwest by Loading and Unloading Parts at the Warehouse and Customer Stores, communicating with our Dispatchers and Customers, and Verifying Order information against Sales Orders to ensure a great experience. We also utilize the Elite Extra system to optimize our driving routes! To succeed in this role, you will need to regularly lift up to 75lbs and reach, bend, and twist while moving potentially awkward and fragile parts. Time is of the essence to ensure our customers can count on deliveries being made on time, every time! Requirements
- 1-2+ years of delivery driving preferred, but not required
- Valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable driving a 12-18ft box truck
- Customer Service Skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- able to pass a criminal background check
