Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in the operation of Motor Vehicles.
Experience with conventional machine shop equipment in the creation of close-tolerance parts, either through work experience or as a hobby.
Strong, excellent verbal & solid communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Interest or experience in the Motorsports industry.
Technical and/or mechanical aptitude.
Ownership of tools.
Familiarity with product lines sold in the dealership.

Responsibilities

Assemble and PDI new units.
Manage new units from receiving to customer walk-around according to PDI training procedures.
Maintain organization and control of the PDI area and service warehouse storage.
Perform simple maintenance such as oil changes and tire changes.
Work under the close supervision of the PDI Manager and Service Manager.
Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department.
Follow company dress codes and maintain grooming standards.
Perform or support tooling design and fabrication, in-process and final inspection, and production.
Use ingenuity and mathematical calculations for complicated set-ups.
Keep tools and work area clean and orderly.
Read, interpret, and work from engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and written/verbal instructions.
Adhere to safety requirements associated with assigned duties.
Perform other related duties as required.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all other managers, employees, and departments.
