About The Position

Holz Motors, a family-owned dealership in Hales Corners, WI, is seeking a PDI Accessory Tech. This role is crucial in preparing and delivering vehicles to meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The technician will be responsible for installing accessories, including electronic systems, ensuring vehicles are ready for customers by removing protective coverings, placing floor mats, and attaching license plates. Additionally, the role involves assisting with inventory management and vehicle receiving. Requirements

  • Must be able to pick up material weighing 25 lbs or less
  • OEM certifications are encouraged
  • ASE certifications are ideal
  • Strong automotive background- experience in a dealership is preferred
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
  • Must have clean & valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Assist with PDI of new and used vehicle deliveries (pull protective plastic out of cars, put down floor mats, attach license plates, etc)
  • Drive and deliver vehicles locally following all rules of the road
  • May be asked to clean vehicles
  • Inventory vehicles as necessary
  • Assist transporters and trucking companies with receiving vehicles
  • Install all accessories on vehicles including electronic accessories that may require programming of onboard computer as needed
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
